Examination Guidelines

General:

The prospective students are required to submit the admission form duly filled up and signed by them along with the mandatory documents and the applicable fees required for admission process. The mandatory documents and online fees receipt can be submitted online by email to the university or can be couriered.

Examinations are tentatively conducted between dates 15th – 30th for month of January and July. Student can attempt examinations twice a year only. The student would fill the exam form and submit the exam fees along with the exam form for processing.
The examination consists of objective type questions – the exam paper will contain 50 questions of 2 marks each.
Examination duration is one hour
Passing marks are 40%
Second attempt examination Fees (Per Subject): Indian Student INR 300/Foreign or NRI $45
Examination Fees are non-transferable and non-refundable
Students who have past due payments or any pending document as required by the university will not be allowed to give their examinations
Students who are enrolled under the Indian/Civilian category but wish to appear for the examinations abroad, will need to pay the examination fee of $25 per subject
Procter Based examination process for NRI/Foreign students
The student can give backlog examination for previous semester if any, in the next exam cycle or with the fresh subjects of the subsequent semester.
The university reserves the right to have subjective exams in future or combination of objective /subjective both and the necessary process would be communicated to the student in advance.
The validity period of the program is double the duration of program, in case the validity period is over the student would have to extend the validity period by 1 year by paying validity extention fees.

The dates mentioned above for exams are tentative in nature and any changes in the same would be communicated to the students

Eligibility for Exam:

It would be student’s responsibility to check the website for any new notifications made by the university.

Exam Exceptions

There will be no exam exceptions at all for students.

Exam Results:

The results would be declared within 3 months from date of examination is conducted.

Students who do not Pass in all subjects of a particular semester, need to clear all the subjects of particular semester. Marksheets will be issued when all subjects of a semester are cleared.

System of Evaluation and Award of Degree

1. At the end of every semester, a student is awarded a grade based on his / her performance in examinations/ assignments, in every course registered by him / her. These grades are described by the letters). O, A, A, B, B...etc. and have a numerical equivalent called the grade points with percentage range as given below:

B 63 < B ≤ 72

C+ 54 < C+ ≤ 63

C 45 < C ≤ 54

2. A CGPA of 5.0 and above but less than 6.5 is considered as Second class. A CGPA of 6.5 and above but less than 8.5 is considered as a First Class, while a CGPA of 8.5 and above is considered as First class with distinction.
3. As per the existing rules, rank in class is not certified except for First Position in a class on yearly basis.
4. Minimum passing grade is P for all project, theory and lab courses.
5. The medium of instructions at the university is in English in all courses.

Project Guidelines

The document of project guidelines would be emailed to the registered students of the university.

For programs with project work in last semester, the students are required to submit a hard copy with 80 to 100 pages and also email the soft copy of the project to the university.
The project should be industry related topic selection & finalization will be done by the institute

Project evaluation charges are Rs. 300/- for Indian student/ for foreign and NRI students it is $25.
The project should be done by the student and must be original. Plagiarism will not be accepted.

Mark Sheets & Certification

Once the student completes all the mandated assignments, examinations and projects (if applicable) the final mark sheet and certificate would be dispatched by the university.
The semester wise mark sheet would be issued by the university within 3 months from date of conduction of exams.
All pending payments/dues need to be cleared by the student, before the certification.
The student has to apply for certification along with certification fees once he/she has completed the full course wherein the student have to re-submit the mandatory documents like degree certificate/mark sheets etc of the qualifying exam which student had submitted at time of admission.

I have passed in Internal Assessments however, in my result / mark sheet I failed in Internal assessments (assignments)

Students should submit the assignments successfully before appearing for the Term End Exams. The mark sheets are printed twice a year on the basis of term end exam for which on a particular date the assignment scores are downloaded for Mark Sheet Printing. There are chances that the student has appeared for assignments after the assignment scores were downloaded for mark sheet printing purpose (after last date of assignment published date) For such cases, the students would get the corrected scores at time of next exam cycle mark sheet printing process. Note - University follows the exam cycles (twice a year) for the purpose of mark sheet printing, any updates in printed format would be done in subsequent exam cycle.

2.The Mark Sheet has some error in Name

The name to be mentioned on University mark sheet has to be as per students' 10th Std Mark Sheet (Unless a name change document is accompanied during admission process). However, if the name error exist, the student should return the original hard copy of mark sheet back to the below mentioned address. Students should accompany an application mentioning the necessary corrections in the mark sheet with their complete details.
